David P. Abbott
(1863-1934) born near Falls City,
Richardson County, lived in Omaha. Amateur magician,
investigator of paranormal claims, author, realtor; known
nationally as inventor of “Talking Teakettle” and
considered most underrated magician in the 20th century;
he authored Behind the Scenes with the Mediums
