Bion Joseph Arnold
(1861-1942) lived in Ashland, Saunders County, and in
Lincoln. Electrical engineer, inventor of plan for electrification
of New York's Grand Central Terminal, known as "father of
the third rail"; recipient of Washington Award in 1929.
