James F. Bonner
(1910-1996) born in Ansley, Custer County. Molecular
biologist, developed methods for study of gene action in
test tube, developed a technique to increase latex production
and essentially doubled world rubber production, elected
to National Academy of Sciences. Consult Annual Review
