Margueritte Harmon Bro

(1894-1977) born at David City, Butler County, lived in Lincoln. Author, educator, book reviewer, ghost writer, published articles and reviews for magazines, authored or co-authored almost 20 books, including several novels for children, and several inspirational and biographical accounts for adults, was an editor for Harper's, lived as wife of teaching missionary in China, Indonesia, and Korea.
