Clara Bewick Colby

(1846-1916) lived in Beatrice, Gage County. Women's activist and publisher, her Woman's Tribune was probably the first woman's paper published daily by a woman, lectured from 1909 to 1916 throughout the United States and Europe, influenced women's rights leaders Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton.
