Mabel L. Chambers Criss

(1881-1978) lived in Omaha. Co-founder with husband, Clair C. Criss, in 1909 of an insurance business that became Mutual of Omaha, now the world's largest exclusive health and accident insurance company; she served as the company's first female officer, a philanthropist.
