John P. Falter

(1910-1982) born at Plattsmouth, lived in Falls City. Artist, cover illustrator for Saturday Evening Post, Look, Reader's Digest and other magazines, designed over 300 posters and other materials for U.S. Navy during World War II, appeared on the cover of Newsweek, December 1952.
