Marjorie Gestring
(1922-1992) lived in Omaha. Athlete, salesperson, won gold medal in three-meter
springboard diving at 1936 Olympics when 13 years and 9 months of age, remains
youngest person in Olympic history to win an individual gold medal in any
sport, won total of eight Amateur Athletic Union titles from 1936 to 1940.
