Priscilla C. Grew

(1940- ) lives in Lincoln. Geologist, educator, administrator, educational pioneer who was first woman to teach science at Boston College, first woman to head the California Department of Conservation, first woman on the California Mining and Geology Board, first woman named state geologist for Minnesota, and first woman appointed vice chancellor of research at University of Nebraska-Lincoln; first woman to receive Ian Campbell Medal from American Geological Institute in 1999.
