Reuben G. Gustavson
(1892-1974) lived in Lincoln. Chemist, educator, administrator,
known for research with glandular secretion and sex hormones,
served as liaison between atomic energy project at University
of Chicago and the U.S. Department of Army, was chancellor
of University of Nebraska, where he encouraged use of United
Nations programs and world outreach efforts; served as director
of Ford Foundation's Resources for the Future. Consult Lincoln
