Joseph M. Hunt

(1906-1991) born near Scottsbluff, Scotts Bluff County. Educational psychologist, educator, author, and theoretician, his 1961 book Intelligence and Experience presented the basis for the Head Start program and represented a shift in thinking about intellectual development.
