Hattie Plum Williams

(1878-1963) lived in Lincoln. Sociologist, educator, author, first woman known to chair a coeducational, doctoral department of sociology while at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, contributed to the field of sociology with her major studies on Russian-German immigrants.
