Frederick R. Kappel
(1902-1994) lived in Omaha. Executive of American
Telephone and Telegraph Company for 11 years during which
time the number of customers was doubled, appeared on cover
of Time, May 29, 1964, was chairman of U.S. Postal Service
for two years, recipient of Presidential Medal of Freedom
