Allan B. Kline
(1895-1968) born at Waterbury, Dixon County. Farm organization
leader, farmer, served as president of the American Farm Bureau
Federation from 1947 to 1954, representing 1.4 million farm
families, served as consultant before congressional committees
and international conferences on agriculture, opposed government
price control programs, favored Marshall Plan in 1948 which
he assisted in administering as one of 12 board members. Consult
