Ruth M. Leverton
(1908-1982) lived in Lincoln. Nutritionist, educator, author,
served in human nutrition research division of U.S. Department
of Agriculture, reviewed nutrition research projects supported
by Food for Peace funds in eight foreign countries, authored
more than 200 articles, chapters, monographs, and books, many
of them original scientific papers, recipient of Borden Award
of American Chemical Society in 1953. Consult Lincoln Evening
