Ben Kuroki

(1919- ) born near Hershey, Lincoln County, lived in York and Lincoln. Journalist, was World War II air hero who was tailgunner on 58 missions, waged one-man crusade nationwide against racial discrimination after the war, served as reporter, editor, and publisher of newspapers in Nebraska, Michigan and California.
