Alexander Legge
(1866-1933) lived near Rogers/Schuyler, Colfax
County, and in Omaha. Manufacturer and government official,
president of International Harvester, manager of Allied
Purchasing Commission in World War I, chairman of Federal
Farm Board where he expanded the farmers cooperative movement,
appeared on cover of Time, August 4, 1930. Consult Famous
