Robert D. Novak
(1931- ) lived in Omaha and Lincoln. Journalist, author, television
personality, has coauthored
and authored political column carried by hundreds of newspapers since 1963 and
served as commentator
and program host for Cable News Network since 1980, he is also author or co-author
of six books and
contributor of articles to numerous publications; recipient of ACE Award from
Cable Broadcasting Industry in
1990 and the Fourth Estate Award from the National Press Club in 2001; reporter
