Alexander Payne

(1965- ) born at Omaha. Film director and screenwriter, has worked in creative capacity on six films since 1989, recipient of nomination for Academy Award in 2000 for Election and winner of Golden Globe in 2003 for About Schmidt, winner of Academy Award and Golden Globe for 2004 as screenwriter of movie Sideways.
