Frank Phillips

(1873-1950) born in Scotia, Greeley County. Business executive, founder of Phillips Petroleum Company, became a pioneer in the processes of manufacturing petroleum products and developed into the world's largest oil producer of natural gasoline, became by the late 1940s the ninth-largest oil company in the nation.
