Richard C. Carson
(1928- ) lived in Norfolk
and Lincoln. Director of television game, talk, and variety
programs, associated during 1960s with NBC-TV's "Tonight
Show" hosted by his famous brother Johnny, received
Emmy Awards for 1973, 1982, and 1984 as director of "Merv
Griffin Show" and for 1985 and 1996 as director of "Wheel
of Fortune" game show, also received 12 Emmy nominations
