Charles S. Ryckman

(1898-1966) lived in Fremont, Dodge County. Journalist, editorial writer for the Hearst organization after 1936, served at Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco newspapers, all Hearst newspapers carried his editorials, recipient of 1931 Pulitzer Prize for editorial writing on the value of U.S. Senator George W.
