William S. Sessions
(1930- ) lived in Kearney, Buffalo County. Lawyer, appointed
in 1971 as U.S. Attorney for the western district of Texas, was
chief judge for the same district, served as Director of the
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for over five years, investigated
charges of discrimination against African-Americans and Hispanics
