Joel Stebbins

(1878-1966) born in Omaha. Astronomer, educator, outstanding scientific leader, a pioneer in development of photoelectric methods for measuring the light of stars, the father of electronic astronomy, research associate at Mount Wilson Observatory, elected to National Academy of Sciences.
