Karl Stefan
(1884-1951) lived in Omaha and Norfolk. Businessman,
radio commentator, politician, served nine consecutive
terms in U.S. Congress where he was known for his bipartisan
efforts, his numerous appearances before Congressional
committees, his success in road improvement funding for
the farm states; was conversant in several foreign languages
and served as official adviser to United Nations Conference
in San Francisco in 1945. Consult New York Times obituary,
