Lindsay Tarpley
(1983- ) lived in Omaha. Athlete, won team gold medal
in women’s soccer for the
United States in the 2004 Olympics, scored one of the two goals
in the final match versus Brazil’s team; while
playing for U.S. National Soccer Team in 2002 she was named
U.S. Soccer’s Chevrolet Young Female Player
of the Year, played major role in the University of North Carolina’s
NCAA Division I national championship in
2003, and was top scorer in Division I that year. Consult Omaha
