What do you get for your Associate Membership dues?

  • All twelve editions of the electronic Nebraska Newspaper magazine, which is considered the best of its kind in the nation. This publication reports on the industry in the state and, when applicable, the nation.  It is emailed to you each month.
  • Invitations to participate in our annual State Conventions, one traditionally held in either Kearney or Lincoln in April. More than 250 person attend our Annual April Convention. This provides a good opportunity to converse with publishers, editors and reporters from all parts of Nebraska. Associate Members also can, at their option, attend its workshops and banquets.
  • Each Associate Member receives, upon request, the annual Directory and Rate Book, an invaluable reference source that lists everything you want to know about each member newspaper. This is the book to have to find out: names of newspapers, publishers and other personnel, size, date of publication, ad rates, circulation - and much, much more.
  • On a space available basis, Associate Members may attend our workshops, which focus on improved writing, photography, layouts, selling, graphic design and law.

What does it cost?

Our fee structure is simple: $110 for the first annual membership and $40 additional for each individual from the same business or organization. We bill in November for the following year. Membership runs from January 1 – December 31. More than 60 individuals and organizations have joined our Associate ranks. We make every effort to make them feel welcome and to serve them.
