We'll send your release to our up-to-date list of publishers and editors of every daily and weekly newspaper in the state. Select from statewide or regional newspaper coverage options. We can also mail to broadcast outlets.

Your message will be handled promptly, usually the same day when you select the individual mailing option; or we'll include your release in our weekly Nebraska Press Association bulletin for a lesser charge.

Because the Nebraska Press Association is a nonprofit organization, other nonprofit organizations will not be eligible for a reduced rate, as this cost is set at the price it costs to send out the release. 

There are no annual or maintenance fees. You only pay for what you use.

Here's how to place your order:

To find out about this convenient service, call Katie at the NPA office at 402-476-2851, or e-mail: nebpress@nebpress.com. If you're calling from outside of Lincoln, dial 1-800-369-2850. Prepare your press release and provide us with the proper number of copies (see table). Do not fold, collate or staple. We do this for you.

• Photos: If you have a photo to enclose with your release, please provide the electronic copy as a JPEG or a PDF. There is an additional $25 fee to enclose a photo. (Hard copy only required with the hard copy mailing option.)
• Deadlines: Releases that are mailed with NPA's weekly bulletin must be in our office no later than Monday noon. The Bulletin is mailed on Tuesday. For First Class individual mailings, we provide same day turn around provided the release is in our office by 11:00 a.m.
• Duplication charges: NPA will photocopy your original for an additional cost of $25 per original. A 2-page release would be an additional $50 extra, 3-page $75, etc.
• Page count: A release printed or copied front and back is considered two pages.

Newspapers

Newspaper Mailing - (Electronic Delivery)

$115.00- 1-2 pages. (Same day turn around if received in the NPA office by 11:00 a.m. Your release will reach the publishers only.) Please submit copy by e-mail to nebpress@nebpress.com, as a text document (.txt) or a PDF.

Bulletin Mailing - (First Class)

$95.00 - 1-2 pages
$10.00 - Each additional page
(Bulletin is mailed and emailed every Monday. 55 copies are needed plus an email copy to nebpress@nebpress.com.  Deadline is Friday noon. The Bulletin reaches publishers, editors, advertising and circulation managers.)


Regional Mailing - (First Class)

$40.00 per region - 1-2 pages $10.00 each additional page (Same day turn around if received in the NPA office by 11:00 a.m. 50 copies per region needed. Your release will reach the publishers only.)

Broadcast

Broadcast Mailing - (First Class)

$100.00- 1-2 pages $10.00 - Each additional page (Same day turn around if received in the NPA office by 11:00 a.m. 140 copies needed.)
